SOUTHEAST IOWA WHITETAIL TROPHIES

Listed below are the terms and agreement of what you will be receiving while hunting with Southeast Iowa Whitetail Trophies (SEIWT). This agreement will also explain our expectations of you, the hunter.

TRANSPORTATION:
You will be responsible for getting to Southeast Iowa and to our hunting camp. Once arriving at the camp you can either drive to the stand locations or be taken to your stand by us.

ROOM AND BOARD:
You will be responsible for your own room and board, but we will provide one meal a day while hunting with us.

STAND LOCATIONS:
While hunting with SEIWT you will be able to capitalize on pre-hung stand locations that have been placed after years of scouting and hunting. These are properties that have been hunted by your guide for decades and placed with the following things in mind: the travel patterns of the deer to and from bedding areas, feeding patterns, wind directions, entrance and exits, and what has provided the best results over the years. Moving stands is prohibited but new ones can be hung if the need presents itself.  This will also need to be discussed with your guide.

GAME:
We work very hard to provide a respectable amount of, what we would call shooters for our clients.  We would hope that you share the same mindset and will respect our wishes. Our idea of a shooter is a 150” class buck and larger, but we give our clients a ten inch leeway. A 140” class buck can be shot, but our hope is that you would let it pass and give it another year’s growth in order to provide bigger deer for our clients. These are all based off of a gross P & Y score. Anything scoring 139” and smaller will result in a five hundred dollar charge on top of your guiding fee. While hunting, if an animal is shot and can not be recovered, we do allow you to continue to hunt in order to fill your tag at an additional cost of five hundred dollars. The client also has the choice to take the non-recovered animal as their kill.    

LICENSING:
All clients will need to have an Iowa hunting license and tags for the species being hunted. We also expect all of our clients to conduct themselves under the Iowa Department of Natural Recourses hunting regulations. These regulations can be viewed at www.iowadnr.com.

CLIENTS:
We at SEIWT will strive to provide a relaxed and fun atmosphere for our clients. We hope that you find your hunt with us to be successful in your harvest, but also getting to know us while developing a relationship for future hunts.
